Nina Boettcher
Crafting has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, starting when I was just five years old with cross-stitch lessons from my grandma. I grew up in a lively Greek-American household in the Midwest, where family-owned businesses like restaurants and a soccer shop were the norm. Eventually, my journey took me to the Bay Area, where I spent time teaching middle school math, before embracing motherhood with my four boys.
It's been over twenty years since I made California my home, and during this time, I've become deeply embedded in the crafting community. I owned Creative Escape, a paper craft retail store in Los Gatos, California for 6 years. I also co-own Crafters Home, a network of local craft store owners across the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia.
I love meeting and collaborating with the thoughtful, enthusiastic people I've met in our industry– as much as a I love to create things. It’s time for the next chapter in my journey as I transition to not owning a full time storefront. I hope to share those experiences with everyone at home, through virtual classes, crops and events.
