One of the hottest trends in card making right now are Wax Seals!  These beauties have come back in a fresh and modern way and are taking the card making community by storm!  Have you been wondering what all the fuss is about?  Are they hard to make?  What do I need if I want to add Wax Seals into my card making?  Well – look no further!  Join Nikki as she discusses how this trend has changed over the centuries and what’s new and modern about this current take.  Learn about the different types of waxes, seals and other paraphernalia needed.  Walk away with 4 completed cards, all featuring this amazing product!

Please note:  A Wax Seal Kit is NOT required for this class.  Nikki will have several burners and seals available for use in class.  However, if you would like to bring your kit to play with, please do!  Nikki will go over what’s in your kit as well as cleaning tips and tricks.

This class will be held in person at Creative Escape!  A class video will be available for those that cannot attend or would like to purchase a kit. Please note that for those purchasing a kit, the wax seals will be premade for you.  However, Nikki will still go over the techniques in the video.

Can’t make it to class?  Not to worry!  A class video with full step by step instructions is available after class. Video is available to all class attendees and kit purchasers.  Re-watch, pause, rewind and stop as many times as you need to!

What you will need for class:

Basic tool kit including: 

• Paper Trimmer
• Score board & bone folder 
• scissors
• favorite fine tip glue and dry adhesive 
• foam tape or squares (I love the Scrapbook Adhesive Squares in both Regular and Thin size.)
• tweezers
• scissors
• Light pink ink and blending tool (I used Pinkfresh Ink in Ballet Slipper but any pale pink will work great)
• Craft mat
• Optional but recommended:
  • Trays to sort die cuts
  • Pick up tool for small gems and die cuts
  • Deco Color Metallic Gold Pen (Bullet or Small Chisel Tip)
